How many of the 5,000 who sign are people who WILL actually buy the new product, who would not otherwise have purchased the existing one anyway? (If the company is getting your money either way, they probably don't care so much whether you are grumbling as you fork it over. Hopefully we can raise 5,000 signatures by the end of the year-hopefully even more!I wonder what percentage of these types of petitions have the effect they desire on the actions of a company? A company presumably in business to make money and probably having already run the numbers of most possible business scenarios. I think it will benefit an array of users.
